PATMOS TERRACE & HOUSE
The house lies on the pedestrian street off the Main Square to Myloi and the Elementary School. Constructed at the end of the 17thand the end of the 19th century, this house is completely inward-looking with a terraced façade of 25m. The arched room bridges the street and the traditional “single-space” (sitting-bedroom) At the opposite are the house’s most interesting elements.
The courtyard is protected from the ‘meltemi’ winds. A blind arch lit the large space into a sitting-room. At the south end of the courtyard a bathroom on upper floor serves the master bedroom and below dining opens to courtyard.
